Holiday Break

This year, our Holiday Break runs from Monday, December 25, through Friday, January 5, with classes resuming on Monday, January 8. During the break, our office and district office hours will be adjusted to accommodate the holiday schedule. If you need to visit our school of the district office during the break, please call before visiting to ensure the office is open on the day of your planned visit. 

District-wide Food Drive a Huge Success 

We are thrilled to share the remarkable results of the recent district-wide food drive supporting Gleaners Community Food Bank. The community's generosity has been overwhelming, with 14,648 pounds of food donated and $9,091.633 in monetary donations. The monetary contributions were matched on Giving Tuesday, doubling our impact to $18,183.26. This effort will provide approximately 72,127 meals to our neighbors in Livingston County. We are immensely grateful for everyone's support during this holiday season.

Join Us to Learn About the Design Process for our New School

Please remember that we will be hosting a special event on Wednesday, January 10, from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Southwest Media Center (**we've moved from the Gym**)  to discuss the planning process being undertaken for the replacement Southwest Elementary School. We will share details about the design of the new building that will directly impact our students' educational experience. During the session, you will also have the opportunity to provide input as to your thoughts regarding the new building. Your input is invaluable to us, and your participation in this discussion will contribute to the success of our new school. 

The thrill of embarking on a new architectural venture resonates within our community as we eagerly announce the design phase of a groundbreaking new building. Enthusiasm abounds as we envision a space that will not only meet our current needs but also shape the future of our institution.
